Falling or Flying?

We have all of us at some time in our lives “fallen” or wanted to ‘fly” (like Peter Pan) and the bible tells us that we all “fell from grace”.

We fly the nest and we fall in - and out - of love. We love our work - or not, our homes and our cars. People fall from bridges and tower blocks and into bed. Water “falls” and so do trees and Autumn.

Initially drawn from remembered incidents the imagery evolved slowly and has now taken on a life of its own.
